The College of Public Health is pleased that the Master of Health Administration graduate program improves its rank (#32) within the top 50 of its discipline, as recognized in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of graduate programs.

“The Mason MHA continues to be recognized for its outstanding ability to prepare future executives to thrive in leadership positions in health care organizations,” said Peggy (P.J.) Maddox, chair of the Department of Health Administration and Policy. "Our in-person and online programs offer flexibility for students located anywhere and with a variety of lifestyles, which allows anyone who wants to innovate and improve health care to thrive in our program.”

The MHA program ranks #17 in public institutions. In March 2022, Mason’s MHA program was honored with the Sustainability in Healthcare Management Education award from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), sponsored by Canon Solutions America. The award recognizes Mason’s MHA program for excellence in sustainable integration of knowledge and skill development in cultural competency, community involvement, environmental stewardship, and accessibility in health systems management.
