Biography

Anya Coleman, PMP, CSM, joined MITRE October 2018 as a Public Healthcare Specialist under the Department of Clinical and Quality Informatics and brings knowledge and expertise in project management experience, specifically supporting government programs/projects focused in health IT.  Projects Anya has led previous to MITRE include supporting mission critical applications, to include the replacement of a legacy Human Capital Management (HCM) application, Talent Management System (TMS), for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA); provided support on the Health Management Product Enhancements (HMPE) Program Management Office (PMO) Support contract with the Veteran Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT&T) with C2 Solutions Group, Inc. Additionally, Anya provided Project Management Subject Matter Expertise to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) supporting the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) PMO; and most recently provided project management for software application enhancements for the Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry (AHOBPR), Embedded Fragment Registry (EFR), Amputee Registry, and Transplant Registry for the Veteran Health Administration (VHA).  

Anya's knowledge of project management, and functional planning, as well as technical and documentation analysis has been vital in assisting VA OI&T clients in fulfilling their mission. Anya holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a concentration in Nutrition from George Mason University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
